Erin Brenna Hyde

Erin Brenna Hyde has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2006 and a member of the Middle District of Florida since 2019. During her entire legal career, she has championed the cause of those who could not defend themselves. She is presently Board Certified in Criminal Trial Law by the Florida Bar and has been since 2016. Ms. Hyde was a member of the second inaugural class of Florida A&M University College of Law where she received her Juris Doctorate in 2005. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Rollins College in 2002 where she majored in Psychology. Ms. Hyde has defended capital cases since 2016, obtaining a life verdict as recently as 2018 and is currently a member of this Office's capital team. She is a member of the Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and assisted in facilitating a training on jury selection in Capital cases for the Florida Public Defender's Association in 2019.
